Tabataba'i interpretation in Tafsir al-Mizan follows the form of bil ra`y (departing from objective and argumentative rational thinking), with source Qur'an itself Prophet's Hadith which is based on Shi'a Imams. The method/system used by tahlily (analytical) method a multidimensional approach an adaby ijtima'i (social) style. In addition, Tabatabai classified as exegete who uses modern paradigm thinking.
